Half of the property is dedicated to vines, the other half to organic almond and fig trees. Set between 1150 and 1400 metres above sea level, the slopes of the vineyard are often far too steep for any type of machinery to traverse, so the family turn the soil each year traditionally, using mules. The soil here is mostly slate and
