鍵盤の内側には和紙を貼ってあげると良さそうです。

使い込まれた古竹編の掛花入。いい色に育っています。編みのほつれも、そのままに。野花を呼びます。

欄間として、上下の壁や鴨居（かもい）の間に据え付けられ、光や風を通しつつ空間を仕切る役割を果たしていました。小ぶりで品の良い作品です。

おそらく清代前後のものではないかと思いますが、この頃の木工芸の歪みはお約束で、本品の側面の木部にも歪みが出ていますが、底、上面はフラットで、小さな茶杯も安定しています。
